A moisturising, anti-irritating ingredient and an effective cell proliferating and healing agent to stimulate good tissue formation. In dermatological and veterinary preparation it performs as a chemical cleaner of scaling and necrotic tissue.
(Prunus armeniaca) Rich in Vitamins A & E, this pale yellow oil is cold pressed from the apricot fruit kernels. It is a light yet nourishing oil that also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it good for skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
Used to treat muscular aches, joint pains, including arthritis, reducing both pain and swelling . It is also able to speed up the healing of bruises. due to it’s anti-inflammatory properties.
BTMS 50 includes 50% Behentrimonium methosulfate which is said to be the best detangling ingredient in the world. We have this exclusively manufactured for us to be palm oil free. We use this primarily in our conditioner bars but also in our shampoo bars.
(Calendula officinalis), the bright gold flower of the Marigold plant, has wide ranging antimicrobial properties including being antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial making it useful in relieving nappy rash and soothing irritated, itchy skin.
This waxy substance is an emollient, emulsifier and thickening agent. It is plant derived and we only use cetyl alcohol that is palm oil free. It helps make our lotion bars have a light, creamy feel whilst adding moisturisation and enhancing viscosity in our hair care bars.
Chamomile an ancient medicinal herb in use for 5,000+ years. It offers a high source of antioxidants that lower inflammation and prevent cell mutation, helping to reduce pain, swelling, redness and prevents scarring.
This is a gentle, liquid cleaning agent derived from coconuts that combines well with other cleaning agents to increase mildness and foam.
(Theobroma cacao) Organically certified Cocoa butter, extracted from the cacao beans, it is naturally rich in antioxidants and Vitamin E and has a pleasant chocolate aroma.
A natural mineral compound of magnesium and sulphate, with health benefits to soothe aching limbs, ease colds and chest congestion, heal cuts, improve the absorption of nutrients and draw out toxins. It promotes calm and relaxation, reducing adrenaline for improved sleep.
These oils are completely natural and obtained through steam distillation and other methods of extraction of the parts of the plant. A natural and gentle alternative to man-made ‘fragrances’ used in perfumes, etc. that can be irritating to skin. They also have multiple therapeutic and healing benefits.
(‘Azadirachta inica’) a plant oil pressed from the fruits and seeds of Neem tree. It has natural anti-inflammatory properties that help relieve swelling skin. It is also anti-bacterial and is a natural pain killer for relieving painful skin flare-ups.
Sourced from Italy, this protein is derived from oats and coconut fatty acids and provides intensive conditioning to the hair, whilst forming a rich, moisturising film. Oats are also known to help calm sensitive, irritated skin and scalp.
This plant can be traced back to the 1500’s. The leaf has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties and naturally contains ‘allantoin’ which is known to speed up the healing of wounds, as well as increase the water content of cells. Its anti-bacterial properties also help prevent itching.
(DL Panthenol) adds moisturisation, improves hair structure whilst adding lustre and sheen. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe skin and scalp.
