All of our UK made range of vegan solid shampoo bars, vegan solid conditioner bars and al the other personal care bars are 100% vegan, animal cruelty free, with no synthetic fragrances or artificial preservatives.

Not only that they are sustainable and ocean friendly so they are zero-waste, free from SLS, parabens and palm oil and totally plastic free.

Our bars have all the benefits of liquid hair care but none of the drawbacks.

Rice Bran Wax

(Oryza sativa) A natural, vegetable wax derived from the extraction and de-waxing of rice bran oil that is a great vegan alternative to widely used beeswax.

SCI - Sodium cocoyl isethionate

Sodium cocoyl isethionate (also called Babyfoam in the US) is an extremely mild and gentle cleaning agent that doesn’t dry out the skin and is pH friendly for both your hair and scalp. It is derived from Coconuts.

Shea Butter

(‘Butyrospermum parkii’) nut derived and rich in essential fatty acids, phytosterols, vitamin E and D, pro-vitamin A and allantoin. It deeply penetrates the layers of the skin, increasing moisture retention and acting as a protective barrier to prevent water loss. 

SM Cocyl Taurate

Extremely mild cleaning agent that comes in the form of a creamy paste, often used in facial cleansers due its mildness and derived from coconuts.

Stearic Acid text

This is a vegetable derived emulsifier, stabiliser and thickener.  We only use stearic acid that is palm oil free.  It is widely used in personal care products, cosmetics as well as candles.

Sweet Almond Oil

(Prunus dulcis) Rich in Vitamin E and unsaturated fats, it is an excellent emolient that nourishes the skin and scalp, adds softness and shine to hair, as well as locks in moisture. 

Tamanu Oil text

(‘Calophyllum inphyllum’), a plant oil derived from the Tamanu tree, native to Southeast Asia and Polynesia, used for hundreds of years in traditional medicine.   It has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties.

Zinc Oxide

A mineral derived topical skin product, it can promote the healing of chapped skin and nappy rash with antiseptic properties.  It also forms a barrier between the skin and the nappy, allowing the water to run off the skin rather than soak it and the skin to remain dry.
