Rape Seed Oil – A few More Facts About This Ingredient

Rapeseed oil is a beneficial oil, commonly known as canola oil in Canada and the United States, which comes from the harvested and then crushed black seeds of the yellow rapeseed plant, Brassica napus.

The oil is refined, has a light texture, pale golden colour and a neutral taste

This oil is especially good for dry hair as it has unsaturated fatty acids with strong moisturising properties, which seem to coat the hair better than other oils. It is light and penetrates the scalp and shaft.

It has an high ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fats providing anti-inflammatory properties to help to soothe dry and irritated scalps.
